Hard work. Commitment. Determination. This gal has that and more. She is a power house of knowledge in the Show Cattle industry. Shelby started Irwin Show Cattle with her parents in 2004 and is located in Dixon, CA.

Shelby chose one of her favorite girls, Claudia, along with her pups, Gigi and Louie, to do this stunning photo shoot at her ranch. Then we headed out to the pasture at sunset.

I asked Shelby why she started all of this. She said:

"I've been passionate about show cattle since a young age. I have always loved being in the barn. I actually call it "barn therapy." It's my happy place! Raising show cattle has become a special hobby between my parents and me. I enjoy being able to have that time with them.

Claudia, she's my best girl. Claudia was my last show heifer that I showed as a junior. She is 16 years old now. She has produced my best show calves, and has had multiple championships in the ring."
