Horses have been a huge part of my life since I was born, from western pleasure to cutting and team roping. In my high school photography classes I spent hours developing my own black and white photos in the school's dark room, never even realizing to what extent my passion for photography was actually developing (pun intended). Eventually my two loves finally melted together.

As a "horse girl” myself, I personally know the bond that a rider shares with their horse. I know that when you are with your horse, the rest of the world's problems seem to melt away; you feel beautiful and authentic in your element. I honestly believe it takes a "horse person" to fully capture that bond and connection. So often we lack any tangible evidence of that bond.
