Kay Padilla + daughters, Heather and Melanie, with their horses taken at their home, Bay B Farms in Winters, CA. They have called this 254 acre property home since 2001. Kay, along with her husband, spent many of those years raising their 7 children, along with managing Bay B Farms, where they board, foal out and breed horses. This family owned and operated business has kept Kay busy over the years. Depending on the season there can be 40-60 horses on the property. Bay B Farms has also taken in many horses that were displaced during some of the California fires, increasing the number of horses to nearly 100.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Kay and the Padilla family for many years now. They are an amazing family. Kay has a heart of gold and the strength of a warrior. I am so happy we were able to capture these special memories for her with her mare Ricochet (Rikki), her daughter Heather with her mare Annie, and her youngest daughter Melanie with her gelding Boogie to the Blues (Waylon).
